CryptoPunk #3100 sold for 4200 ETH, or $7.67m at the time. This was the first time #3100 has been sold in 5 years. Only 0.09 percent of the collection has the Alien skin. This is arguably the token’s main value driver. Only 4% of the collection has a headband. It has one attribute that 2% of the collection has. This NFT’s high worth is due to its exceptional rarity.

7. CryptoPunk #4156

CryptoPunk also included the seventh-most costly NFT ever sold. 4156 was sold for 2500 ETH, or $10.26m, four months ago. #4156 has sold before. The vendor probably regrets selling it for 650 ETH a year ago. It was sold for 3.29 ETH a few months after it was coined nearly 4 years ago. Bandana and Ape skin are its qualities. Only 5% of the collection has a bandana or Ape Skin. Ape is the second-rarest skin after Alien.

#7523 is the second-most costly CryptoPunk NFT. It cost $11.75m! The NFT possesses rare properties. It’s part of the Alien sub-collection, which 0.09 percent of CryptoPunks have. It has 3 qualities and an earring, which 25% of the collection has.

#5822 is the most valuable CryptoPunk ever sold at $23m. The NFT has seen heavy bidding and listing. Rare NFT has one attribute. Only 2% of the collection has only one attribute, a rarity. This CryptoPunk’s high price is due to its many uncommon characteristics.

4. HUMAN ONE

Human One is a digital/physical hybrid art project by Beeple. On 9 November 2021, it sold for $28.9 million at Christie’s 21st Century Evening Sale. The cool thing about this NFT is that its artwork changes over time. Beeple doesn’t own the painting, but he can remotely update it. Experiments integrating many TVs into different shapes and patterns inspired the sculpture.

The third-most expensive NFT has an unusual origin. It was intended to generate money for Julian Assange’s defense after his May 2019 arrest. Assange is in jail for espionage against the US government through WikiLeaks. The NFT is a clock showing Assange’s imprisonment days.

The First 5000 Days is another Beeple NFT hit. It’s a collage of 5000 NFTs Beeples made for his Everyday’s series. Christie’s sold it for $69 million (42.329 ETH) in 2021. The NFT was sold to Singaporean programmer Vignesh Sundaresan, who made his money in crypto. The most costly NFT ever sold to an individual investor.

The most costly NFT ever sold was finally Pak’s ‘The Merge’. The price tag of $91.8 million was a record for a work of art sold publicly by a living artist. The NFT was sold through Nifty Gateway to 28,893 collectors who acquired 312,686 pieces of mass (which were single NFTs). Starting at $575, the price of these devices increased by $25 every six hours.
